Burmese Dha
Early 20th Century
Very fine blade type
A nice old fighting sword from Burma, early 20th centruy.
This Dha measures 80cms long sheathed. Out it is 75cms with a 51cm blade.
The hilt retains all its original rattan ring bindings and is capped each end with a copper collar.
The sheath is split timber with fine rattan binding to the bottom 20cms.
The blade is a fine razor sharp fighting type with light staining to the blade. It sweeps gently upwards towards the broad belly and carries a raised medial ridge along the entire spine.
A well priced Burmese fighting sword.
