ကခ်င္ဓါး ၂

Kachin dao
large heavy example

A very heavy broad Kachin Dao.
Overall 66cms with a 52cm blade. The timber hilt is rattan bound and covered in the remains of a native resin.
The heavy forged blade has a deep curved spine that ends in a concave tip that measures just under 9cms across. The straight cutting edge is beveled to the front and has an unusual bevel to the rear cutting edge where they are normally flat.
A good hefty fighting sword.
