Burmese Dha/Dah
A quality fighting sword
Very fine complete example
A very fine silver hilted 19th century Burmese fighting sword.
This fine Dha measures just over 88cms in the scabbard, just under 85cms out of the sheath and has a blade length of 62cms.
The hilt and pommel are very good quality silver in good condition with the exception of a few minor dents.
The scabbard is rosewood with decorative silver fittings of very good quality.
The blade is in excellent condition throughout. The thick spine tapers through to the tip and is expertly hollow forged the entire length.
A very fine Burmese Dha in excellent condition for its age.
